Our patient's dental concerns were comprehensively addressed as she received four meticulously crafted veneers, resulting in a remarkably beautiful smile.
Dental veneers are wafer-thin, custom-made laminates bonded to the front teeth to change their color, shape, or size. They're made of porcelain material that looks more natural and resists stains better than resin. At Georgetown Cosmetic Dentistry, our dentist will help you choose the color of your veneers to ensure they match the rest of your smile.
Veneers are thin pieces of porcelain that cover the front of the teeth. They are custom-made in a dental lab and fit your mouth precisely, giving you a natural and comfortable smile that you can be proud of. To prepare for veneers, your dentist will remove a thin layer of your enamel to make room for the veneer to fit comfortably in your mouth. Then they will take an impression of your teeth and send that to a dental lab where your custom veneers will be made. Once your new custom set of veneers is ready, you'll return to the office to have them placed. Your dentist will secure them with dental cement, then check your bite to ensure it's comfortable and that you're showing off your new beautiful smile! They are great for permanently stained or discolored teeth but are not the best for highly crooked teeth.
Our patient, who had been longing for a confident and radiant smile, underwent a meticulously crafted full-smile makeover that flawlessly addressed her dental concerns.
Our patient underwent a transformative treatment, receiving ten veneers to address her dental concerns and achieve a stunning and flawless smile.
Veneers are thin, tooth-shaped shells that fit over the front of your teeth to correct chips, gaps, stains, and other imperfections. Unlike crowns, veneers don't require extensive shaping or preparation on your tooth before placement. They're also stain-resistant and can last for years before needing replacement. For these reasons, veneers are often considered one of the most conservative cosmetic dentistry treatments.
Veneers are also a versatile treatment option because they can be used to correct a wide variety of issues, from minor to major. Sometimes people elect to have a few veneers placed to address multiple concerns simultaneously. While cosmetic dentistry procedures such as teeth whitening can improve the appearance of your smile, these treatments are only temporary. They don't address the underlying functional problems that can compromise your oral health. You don't have to choose between aesthetics and function with veneers because your dentist can address both issues with one convenient procedure.
Veneers have revolutionized aesthetic dentistry. They are capable of camouflaging everything from slightly crooked teeth to gaps, chips, discoloration, and even poorly shaped teeth. They can also be used as an alternative to Invisalign to address minor dental misalignment. They may also remove deep stains that are resistant to teeth whitening and give you a bright smile. These thin porcelain shells are permanently glued to the front of each tooth to enhance its appearance and add an overall improvement to the smile to give you a celebrity smile. They are a versatile and conservative option. Many of the perfect smiles you see on celebrities are usually the result of veneers.
Veneers on teeth are an excellent solution for:
VENEERS ARE ONE OF THE BEST OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR TAKING YEARS OFF OF YOUR APPEARANCE. THEY MAKE TEETH LOOK WHITER, MORE UNIFORM, AND PERFECT.
Both veneers and prepless veneers are made from incredibly thin, tough porcelain, and when properly cared for and placed, they will offer you a stunning smile you may enjoy for many years. Besides, both kinds of veneers can fix the same aesthetic issues, such as chipped, gaps, long or short teeth, misaligned teeth, stains, unevenly proportioned teeth, and worn enamel.
And every veneer treatment begins with the dentist taking impressions of the patient's teeth.
The patient was dissatisfied with her initial set of 4 veneers. We switched the original four veneers for smaller alternatives that flawlessly blended in to result in a natural smile.
Then comes the difference between the procedures.
The aesthetics of dentistry have been changed by veneers. They can conceal almost every dental flaw, including slightly misaligned teeth, gaps, cracks, discoloration, and even teeth with irregular shapes. And veneers are mostly the reason behind the flawless smiles you see on celebrities. To learn more, schedule an appointment with us.
